First things first: you need to be a current Sheridan College student. That's it—that's the main requirement! Just bring your valid student ID to your first meeting, and you're in. We don't charge membership fees because we believe access to community and culture shouldn't come with a price tag.
Due to some of our event venues and partnerships with local record stores that serve alcohol, all members must be at least 18 years old.
Before officially joining, you'll need to read and sign our brief conduct agreement that outlines expectations for respectful behavior, proper vinyl handling, and our zero-tolerance policy for harassment or discrimination.
Liability Waiver
Before you decide to join the club, there’s a few house rules.
When we're spinning records during listening parties or group sessions, we ask that everyone keeps the noise level down and saves conversations for before or after. This isn't about S uptight—it's about giving everyone the chance to truly experience the music the way it was meant to be heard.
We celebrate all genres, eras, and formats. Whether you're into classic rock, hip-hop, jazz, indie, electronic, or something totally obscure, your taste is valid here. We expect members to approach unfamiliar music with open ears and curiosity rather than judgment.
We expect members to treat each other's collections with care—handle records by the edges, return borrowed albums promptly, and be honest about the condition of anything you're trading.
