Analog Records
It began when a few students realized they were all hunting through thrift stores for vinyl gems and thought: why not make this a shared experience? Our first swap meet in a cramped study room was electric—people discovered new artists, traded albums, and bonded over analog sound. Since then, we've hosted dozens of swap meets, brought in guest speakers from Toronto's legendary record stores, organized listening parties, and partnered with local shops for student discounts.
We believe vinyl is more than just a medium—it's an experience. There's something magical about holding an album in your hands, reading the liner notes, and hearing music the way artists intended it to be heard.
We believe music is meant to be shared. In an age of endless streaming and isolated listening, we're building a community that brings people together in real life, face-to-face, to celebrate the art form we all love.
Our club is built on three core values: accessibility, inclusivity, and authenticity. We keep membership free because we don't want cost to be a barrier to community. We welcome students of all backgrounds, musical tastes, and experience levels because diversity makes us stronger.
